Handmade Swedish Hunting Knife with Damasteel RWL34 Steel and Curly Birch Handle
Category: karesuando kniven
Handmade traditional Sami knife designed for hunting, featuring a 3.15-inch blade made of stainless powder steel Damasteel RWL34. The handle is crafted from curly birch and reindeer antler, with a total length of 7.08 inches. The blade thickness is 3.2mm and blade width is 21mm.
The steel RWL34 is martensitic, stainless, hardenable, and non-patterned, known for its high edge strength. Similar to Damascus patterned steels, RWL34 is a rapidly solidified powder steel offering exceptional strength, toughness, and edge sharpness that is easy to maintain. It is one of the two steel grades used in DS93X martensitic knife steel.
